Julianna Louise Wiseman, 92, of Fishers, passed away on March 5, 2025. Julianna was born on July 8, 1932, in Sharpsville, IN to Paul and Beulah (Collier) Grinstead.
Julianna graduated from Sheridan High School and continued her education receiving her Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from Holy Cross. She married Bud Wiseman in August 1953, and together they had 3 sons. She worked as a nurse at Riverview Hospital and then became the first school nurse for all 5 Hamilton Southeastern Schools where she proudly started the Candy Stripers Program. Julianna was a former member of Noblesville Baptist Church where she played the piano, and a former member of Cyntheanne Christian Church. She enjoyed sewing, cooking, gardening, and taking care of her flowers, but most of all she loved being a mom to her 3 boys and a wonderful and attentive grandmother to her grandchildren.
Julianna is survived by her children Rex (Barb) Wiseman, Mark Wiseman, and Kelly (Nancy) Wiseman; grandchildren Keith “Luke” (Brittany) Wiseman, Nick (Sarah) Wiseman, Matt (Cassie) Wiseman, John Wiseman, Jessica (Jeremy) Smith, and Jordan (Charlotte) Wiseman; and great-grandchildren Reid, Noelle, Colton, Clay, Jack, Max, Clark, Clyde, and Clarence. She is also survived by her siblings David (Rebecca) Grinstead, and Deloris Durham; sister-in-law Sandra Grinstead; brother-in-law Ron Cook; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family members. She is preceded in death by her husband Harry R. “Bud” Wiseman; her parents Paul and Beulah Grinstead; brother Dallas Grinstead; sister Carol Cook; and sister-in-law Harriett Madonna Lutton.
Visitation for Julianna will be held on Friday, March 14, 2025, from 11 am to 1 pm at Seals Funeral Home, 122 W. Staat St., Fortville, IN 46040. A Funeral Service will take place at 1 pm and burial will follow at Gravel Lawn Cemetery. Memorial Contributions in Julianne’s honor may be made to St. Jude or to the Arthritis Association.
