Obituary for Krysia-Aimee Belcher
Aimee attended Mt. Vernon High School, graduating in 2014. Throughout her high school years, she gave swim lessons at Goldfish Swim School and was a member of the Mt. Vernon Swim Team, where she met her husband, Josh. She continued her education at Ball State University, graduating with her RN BSN in 2018. Aimee began her career in nursing at University Hospital working in their Progressive Care Unit for several years. Aimee battled dyslexia throughout her life, but she never let it deter her from her passion for education and learning. She soon returned to school to further her love for teaching by pursuing her Masters Degree in Nursing Education. Aimee later took time away from work to focus on her truest love, being a mother. She was not only a phenomenal mother, but a natural nurturer with a special talent for calming, not only her own babies, but any child in need.
Aimee was selfless, always putting others before herself. She devoted herself wholeheartedly to every individual that entered her life and was a fiercely loyal friend. She radiated positivity and grounded herself in her faith. Aimee was a member of Solid Rock Baptist Church, where she was saved. Her hobbies included spending quality time with her family and friends, attending church on Sundays with her family and church community, and studying her bible, writing motivational notes to herself throughout. Aimee loved a thrill, never shying away from fun-filled tubing with her siblings and cousins on the annual family Boat Trip. She especially loved riding on jet skis with her father and brothers, never fearing the big waves, but always seeking them out.
Aimee is survived by her beloved husband, Joshua Belcher of Knightstown; beautiful children, Ava and Henry Belcher of Knightstown; parents, Ed and Krysia Arkenau of Fortville; siblings, Kayla (Chris) Huffman of Fortville, Cole (Haley) Arkenau of New Palestine, Kyle (Peyton) Arkenau of Wilkinson, Alycia (Graham) Rigsbee of Whitestown, and Alyvia Arkenau of Fortville; parents-in-law Nancy (Sean) Rose of Fishers, and John P. (Becky) Belcher of Greenfield; siblings-in-law Johnny (Grace) Belcher of Pendleton, Jacob Belcher of Charlottesville, Katelynn Rose of Fishers, and Cameron Belcher of Greenfield; grandparents Bud and Carole Arkenau of Indianapolis and Sandy Schulhof of Fishers; grandfather-in-law John M. Belcher of Fortville; grandmother-in-law, Wanda Barnes of Missouri; her dogs, Finn and Sampson; and several other dear family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her grandfather, H. Tuck Schulhof of Indianapolis; grandmother-in-law, Karen Belcher of Fortville; and grandfather-in-law, Ronald Barnes of Missouri.
A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, December 6, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Bethel Baptist Church, 1610 S. State Street Greenfield, IN 46140.
