Obituary
Mitchell “Mitch” Green, 63, of Indianapolis, passed away peacefully at his home on April 2, 2026. He was born on March 18, 1963, in Indianapolis, a city he called home his entire life.
Mitch spent many years working as a house framer, a trade that reflected his strong work ethic and hands-on nature. He loved building things, whether it was a home for others or special woodworking projects. Mitch enjoyed playing golf, watching classic Westerns, and embracing life’s simple pleasures.
One thing everyone knew about Mitch was his love for ordering from Temu—there was rarely a day the mail arrived without a package waiting for him. He found real joy in discovering new gadgets, tools, and treasures, often sharing them proudly with family and friends. He was a true family man who loved being surrounded by those he cared about most. Whether it was lending a helping hand, sharing a laugh, or simply spending time together, Mitch deeply valued his family and the bonds they shared. Above all else, Mitch was a man of strong faith, which guided his life and brought him comfort and peace.
On July 26, 1993, Mitch married Tammy (Taylor) Green, and she survives him. He is also survived by his children, George Roach (Aileena), Dustin Roach (Megan), Hayley Roach, Eric Olmstead, and Joshua Roach; his many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; his father, David Dillon; his twin brother, Michael Green (Shelley); and his siblings, Kevin, Geanann, David, Barbara, and Candace; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mitch was preceded in death by his two mothers, Marylee Miller and Geraldine Green.
Funeral services will be on Wednesday, April 8, 2026, at 1:00 P.M. at Seals Funeral Home & Cremation Services with Joshua Roach officiating. Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. – 1:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Gravel Lawn Cemetery.
