Obituary
Sarah Darlene Colcord, age 78, of Pendleton, passed away on March 3, 2021 at Millers Merry Manor in Middletown. She was born on May 7, 1942 to the late Floyd and Katherine (Dalton) McQueen.
Sarah was a wonderful person to be around. She had a smile that was contagious and a huge, colorful personality. She had a humor everyone could relate to, good or bad. She was truly full of life and always uplifting. She was one of ten children growing up. She spent most of her life as a hairstylist, with a true talent for cosmetology. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Sarah is survived by her children Robert Colcord Jr. and Brenda (John) Marriott; grandchildren Trenton (Sara) Colcord, Travis Colcord, Trista (Jon) Bellotti, Jillian (Josh) Gray, Cassidy Marriott, and Sarah Marriott; Step-daughter Beci (Mike) Sepi; great-grandchildren Kirsten Colcord, Madelyn Colcord, Trenton Colcord, Quentin Bellotti, Mattix Bellotti, Logan Gray, Connor Gray, Dylan Gray; and many loving friends.
She is preceded in death by her husband Robert Colcord Sr., son Michael Colcord, parents listed above, 7 brothers, and 2 sisters.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 9, 2021 from 2-3pm with a funeral service beginning at 3pm at Legacy Cremation and Funeral Service – Anderson. Burial will take place at Gravel Lawn Cemetery.
