NEW PALESTINE – Nancy M. (Reichenbach) Crawford, age 73, of New Palestine, passed away on Saturday, October 13, 2018. She was born on April 22, 1945 in Anderson as the daughter of Thomas and Margaret Janice (Shull) Reichenbach. She graduated from Hancock Central High School in 1963 and in 1974 she obtained her licensed practical nursing degree from Indianapolis Public Schools and later graduated from IBC in 1982 with a degree in business and secretarial. Nancy married Eric W. Crawford on June 1, 1968 in Fortville.
She liked to do crafts, sewing, baking and cooking. She most of all loved gardening and tending to her flowers.
Nancy is survived by her siblings, Richard (Pam) Reichenbach, Harold Reichenbach, and Debbie (Doug) Maxwell all of Greenfield; many nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews; sister-in-law, Janet Macaulay of California; and brother-in-law, Malcolm Crawford of Alabama. She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Margaret Reichenbach; husband, Eric Crawford; brother, Dwight Reichenbach; and sister-in-law, Karen Reichenbach.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 18, 2018, from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Erlewein Mortuary & Crematory, 1484 W. US Hwy. 40, Greenfield, IN 46140. A funeral service will take place immediately following the visitation at 2:00 p.m. Reverend Mike Manning will be officiating. Burial will follow at Gravel Lawn Cemetery in Fortville.
