Obituary

Fred J. Allgood, 72, of McCordsville, passed away April 13, 2020 at his home surrounded by family.  He was born December 9, 1947 to Hershel and Jackie (Harvey) Allgood. Fred was a high school graduate and served in the U.S. Army during Vietnam.  He retired as an inspector from Chrysler Corporation after 30 years’ service. 

Fred is survived by wife Debra (Woods) Allgood, whom he married December 30, 1977; children: Tim J. (Samantha) Allgood of Fishers, Shelly (Kirk) Marcum of Noblesville; Tiffany (Roy) Spiegel of Kokomo; grandchildren: Tyler Marcum, Cody Allgood, Madison Allgood, Riley Marcum, Dylan Allgood, Nicholas Allgood, Joshua Allgood; mother Jackie Allgood of Fortville; brother Mike (Rose) Allgood of Fortville; sister Linda Collins of Fortville and several nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by son Jeremy Daniel Allgood and his father.

Due to the Governor’s Executive Order private family services will be held at Gravel Lawn Cemetery, Fortville with Pastor Ira Scott officiating.  Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society 5635 W. 96th Street Suite 100 Indianapolis, IN 46278.
