Obituary
Karen Robbins Loman passed away peacefully in her brother’s home surrounded by the love of her family July 26, 2019. Karen was a resident of Carmel. She was born April 20, 1950 in Indianapolis to Don and Mary Newland Loman.
Karen is survived by son, Todd Robbins of Noblesville; daughter Lori Robbins Costa (Craig) of Noblesville; grandchildren Beau, Guinevere and Gabriella Robbins; Jackson and Jaime Costa; brother and best friend Steve Loman (Susan) of Noblesville and several nieces and nephews.
Karen was a 1968 graduate of Arlington High School and attended Indiana University in Bloomington. She spent 30 years successfully building a library and signage company.
Karen’s spirit touched everyone she met. She loved fiercely and will be remembered by her sense of humor and contagious smile. Her greatest love was spoiling her grandchildren.
A celebration of Karen’s life will be August 9, 2019 in the Chapel at Northview Church in Carmel with calling from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The service will be immediately after the calling.
The family extends their gratitude to St. Vincent Hospice, especially wonderful Chauneesha Lester and Cerise Brown for their compassion and care.
