Reba A. Weir, 87, of Fortville, passed away October 3, 2019 in Indianapolis. She was born April 15, 1932 in Randolph County, Indiana to the William and Lola (Cox) Norman. She had worked at the Little Dutch Cleaners and was a homemaker. Reba attended Fortville Christian Church, loved gardening, spending time with her grandchildren and Facebook.
Reba is survived by husband David C. Weir, children: Pam (Bill) Moyer, Dan Longerbone and Patrick McGrory; step-daughters: Christy (Tim) Wilson and Julie (Bill) Prasuhn; grandchildren: Robyn (Ryan) Weaver, Ashley Boutwell, Brittany (Travis) Bunnell; Mary (Dave) Byrnes; Matt (Macaria) Wilson; Leanne van de Bossche, Eric (Amanda) Garst, Andy Garst, Tim (Melissa) Garst; great-grandchildren: Kailey, Kiernan, Kelton, Allison, Lexi, Alayna, Kenny, Luke, Layla, Noah, Kali, Jacob, Clayton, Finley, Jack and Olivia. She was preceded in death by son David Weir II, grandson: David Lee Moyer, her parents and siblings: Richard Norman, Basil “Bud” Norman, Russel Norman, Harry Norman, Nelly Peden and Herbert Norman.
Friends may call on Monday, October 7, 2019 from 4 to 8 pm at Seals Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Fortville. A service to celebrate Reba’s life will be held on Tuesday, October 8, 2019 at 11:00 am at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Gravel Lawn Cemetery, Fortville.
